Shoeless Joe Professional Series 1150TZR 11.50 inch individually hand-cut and sewn from Special Aged Antique Tobacco Leather Hides. Our gloves are then hand-rubbed with old time ingredients to soften the leather before they go through our breaking in process that leaves the Glove with a beaten up and “Game Worn™” look and feel, of a broken in glove. Thus each gloves is unstructured giving its own unique feature. A great play is lived only once, but Your Glove, you’ll keep it forever. If you end a game with a clean uniform our gloves are not for you. An infielders glove has a shallow pocket because the infielders glove must be more responsive to wrist movements. Infielders are expected to catch and return the ball with lightning speed – This is made more difficult if they spend too much time retrieving the ball from the pocket. For this reason, the infielders glove also has less padding and is thinner than the baseball gloves worn by outfielders.
